My own personal design aesthetic is inspired by a fusion of contemporary and classic elements. I am informed and influenced by the work of Zaha Hadid, Philippe Starck, Santiago Calatrava and especially Eileen Grey, the acclaimed Irish architect and furniture designer of the Bauhaus era, whose courage and ingenuity was ahead of her time.<\/p>\n

Louise Lynn comes from a family steeped in creativity. Growing up in beautiful Roscommon on the west of Ireland, her mother (an artist) and sister (a milliner) opened Louise\u2019s eyes to the power and purity of great design, while a lifelong fascination with interior decorating helped to forge a career path.<\/p>\n
Moving to Dublin, Louise completed a B.A. in Interior & Furniture Design at DIT, where she was influenced by the design philosophy of the Bauhaus movement with its emphasis on function, form, and simple aesthetics.<\/p>\n

On graduation, Louise joined HKR, one of Ireland\u2019s leading architectural firms based in Dublin. There, working as part of the busy Interiors team, she was involved in a range of commercial projects including banks, law firms, hotels, restaurants, and department stores. At HKR \u2013 learning from the best \u2013 she worked on everything from pitches and construction drawings to overseeing large commercial fit-outs.<\/p>\n
